A motley crew indeed.
So I guess it's time to introduce my fellow travelers. This is just the preliminary list as there will be many more additions by the time everyone's one the boat.
Peter - kinda resembles a sea-lion.
Peter is also a grad student at UCSB. We were out getting some water and he found this postcard of a sea lion�s face and immediately spouts out "Hey, doesn`t this guy look just like me?" Sure man, whatevah you say.
Webb - your host, as usual
Webb is the worst speaker of Spanish known in existence, but luckily he takes lots of pictures.
Monica - tans with a timer
Monica is a grad student at UCSB studying geophysics but knows a ridiculous amount of stuff about genetics. When we are at the beach she`s the one setting a timer so she`ll know when to flip over.
Stacy - always down for a Brahma
Stacy just finished her master`s and is clearly using this trip to celebrate. The rest of us are fully supporting this endeavor.
Scott - no longer the FNG
Scott is a grease monkey from Woods Hole. Since this is his second cruise, he no longer has to where the title "f#@king new guy."
Kayla - the new FNG
Kayla, aka rookie, aka undergrad, aka the FNG, is an undergrad at UCSB studying something bizarre related to really old things. She also drinks kinda slow.

Wanted to let you know I am reading your blog. I’ll send you some pictures from LC when I get them developed. But the roof needs a fixin’ and the fences need a mendin’...oh and there no developin facilities for miles!
